Long Time no Talk

Sorry for the delay all. Its been a busy time around here. Today is the first day of summer, technically... and its gonna be 99 today. For all you Canadians that means 37.222222222222222222222 without the humidex. So yup ! Its gross here, you aint missing nothing...but heat heat heat. Matt and I are very blessed to have a A/C unit that is on ALL the TIME and it keeps it like winter inside, it really helps mama cope with the temp. Matt has been working like always his job at DBU and taking one summer class instead of two; which needed to happen for his sake. He has been working so hard since we arrived in Texas Jan 01. He recently got a certificate in the mail of achievement for Honors with his last semester grades !!! Be sure to send HIM a electronic pat in the back ! I am helping a lady out at her house; cleaning and cooking a coupla times a week and I watch me nieces, Hannah and Rachel regulary, keeps me moving. We are starting to feel the reality of the baby coming and have started to think about arranging the furniture to fit the bassinet. I will take pics once we do that. Yeeeahhhhhh, Matt felt the baby last Saturday for the first time ! Its was awesome!! His eyes went huge and I think it kinda freaked him out. It freaks me out once in awhile. It was a great Daddy2 B present. My friend Michelle was here for a week at the beginning of June and we had a good time together. Its hard when you are away from your close friends. She got to experience Texas BBQ and tubing out on the lake and Fort Worth Longhorns walking through town and sat on a cattle at a restaurant we were at. (posting to come) She also got to try some Texan Beer, hmmm, wonder how that tastes.. I just took her word for it. ;) I miss my family & friends a lot and Matt and I are SO looking forward to our visit to Canada , which the details are still pending, so your prayers for our trip are greatly appreciated. (Aug 6-18 approx) So the count down begins ! 108 days to go til our baby is due ! Mini has been movin' a ton, to the point where I have placed a book on my belly to read and mini makes the book move!!! Its hilarious ! I was certain mini had the hiccups yesterday cause I was constantly feeling the same rhythm of movement. Its such a great experience.
